

BT&C
is a non-profit organization
based in Napa County, California, devoted to protecting,
enhancing and furthering appreciation of our
natural resources.
The mission of BT&C is to protect the environment through
- facilitating access to nature
- environmental education
- conservation projects
BT&C will carry out its mission by supporting the development of public trails and other nature-based recreational facilities, providing informational materials and educational programs, and engaging in conservation work to protect, restore and enhance the natural environment.

Tuleyome - a nonprofit from Yolo County with whom we share directors and work on trails and conservation
Carol Kunze is our Executive
Director. She is
a member of the Napa Sierra Club executive committee,
a member of the BRBNA Conservation Partnership
steering committee, serves on the board of Tuleyome,
and is on Napa County's General Plan
update steering committee and Parks
and Open Space Advisory Committee.
Andrea Wolf is our Secretary. She is an avid hiker, mountain biker
and kayaker. Andrea leads hikes for Yolohikers, helps with eradication of Tamarisk and Arundo
on Cache Creek for Tuleyome,
volunteers at the UC Davis McLaughlin Reserve, and has been organizing
and leading kayak expeditions in Baja California
for the past six years.
Herb Howe is our Treasurer. He hikes, mountain bikes, and is
an avid kayaker. He is our techie, our leader in
lake clean-up and weed eradication efforts,
and created our Trail
and Paddle Guide and the Styrofoam
Chronicles. In 2006 Herb received a Citizen Award from
the federal Bureau of Reclamation for "outstanding
contributions to the Lake Berryessa community and for his efforts to
keep the lands and waters of Lake Berryessa clean".
Wendy Wallin is our Chair of the Board of Directors. A resident of the Lake Berryessa area, she has been an advocate for
a system of trails and more environmentally sound,
nature-compatible
recreation opportunities within the Lake District. Wendy is a
psychotherapist, art therapist and educator who encourages clients and
students to maximize interaction with their natural surroundings as a way to improve and support mental and physical health.
She is also on the steering committee of the Napa County Weed Management Area, and is an active Sierra Club volunteer
in her role as publisher of Napa Group's Semper Virens.
Marc Pandone is an art teacher.
